4 Tips to Make Plants Bloom All Year Round and Prevent Them from Rotting

At least once in your life, you will have bought a beautiful plant, brought it home and watched helplessly as it weakened and all its flowers fell off. You have probably wondered why this happens and what to do to prevent it.

Plants we buy from nurseries or supermarkets experience a large temperature variation once they are brought home. Changes in light exposure, the nutrients they receive, temperature and humidity levels can stress plants to the point of preventing flowering.

Below we list  4 effective tips to make plants bloom all year round  , making them healthier, stronger and more beautiful to look at.

First tip: tea bags

If you are used to drinking tea, never throw away used tea bags. They are excellent allies to fertilize the soil of our plants, especially roses.

Remember to remove the already dried flowers so that they can make room for the new flowers and continue their process.

Second tip: cinnamon

Take two cinnamon sticks and make a herbal tea by cooking them in water for a few minutes. Let cool and then spray directly on the ground.

Alternatively, pour cinnamon powder directly on the soil surrounding the plant stem. Cinnamon contains essential nutrients for the plant. Apply it at least once a week.

Third tip: banana peels and eggshells

These are both nutrient-rich ingredients for plants and very valuable in the garden. Mix banana peels with washed eggshells, add a little coffee grounds and blend everything together.

Pour the solution directly onto the soil, as if it were compost.

Fourth tip: cloves

Nutrients in the soil are essential for proper growth and flowering of the plant. Cloves are very rich in iron and can be a great help in the garden.

Put at least 3 or 4 cloves in the soil of the plant. They will release iron into the soil when you water the plant, making it healthier and stronger.
